History

OmaSp is a solvent and profitable Finnish bank that has grown from a small local bank to a main list company on the Helsinki Stock Exchange over the past decade. OmaSp’s story begins with the Lappeenrannan Säästöpankki savings bank, which first opened its doors on 13 February 1875 in the town hall of Lappeenranta, in southeastern Finland. The bank was established to serve the local residents, and local knowledge still serves as OmaSp’s competitive edge to this day.
